Responsibilities:
• Installation, configuration and maintenance of ORACLE 8i, 9i, 10g database
• Batch management, disk space administration, performance tuning
• Database backup (hot/cold/incremental backup, export), restore, and recovery
• Installation, configuration and testing of ORACLE RAC
· Perform high availability testing
· Grid control implementation
· Planning and performing Oracle Database migrations
· Dealing with Oracle-related technologies: Oracle Enterprise Manager, SQL, RMAN, STATSPACK, Standby Database, Database Performance Tuning, etc.
System tuning based on commercial UNIX and Enterprise Operating Systems (including shell scripts)
